2 tablespoons salted butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 bag (16 oz) frozen corn
2 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Melt Butter and Honey:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and honey together.
Cook Corn:
Add the frozen corn to the skillet. Cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is thoroughly heated.
Add Cream Cheese and Seasonings:
Add the cream cheese chunks, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir everything together and let it cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese is melted and well combined.
Serve:
Serve the dish immediately.
Storage
Leftovers can be stored in a covered container in the fridge.
Notes
This recipe yields 6 side dish servings. If serving small children, it can stretch to about 8 servings.
Gold n’ white corn is recommended for this recipe, but any type of frozen corn will work. Ensure you use a 1 lb (16 oz) bag of frozen corn.
