16 oz sour cream (if you can't find the 16 oz size, two 8 oz containers work just fine)
Real bacon bits (make sure they're the real deal!)
Shredded cheese (cheddar jack is my favorite, but feel free to use your preferred type)
1 packet of dry ranch seasoning (original flavor works best)
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Start with the sour cream, then add the ranch seasoning and mix until fully incorporated.
Stir in the bacon bits until evenly distributed.
Finally, mix in the shredded cheese until everything is well combined.
