Cinna-bun Cake Recipe

For the cake:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1 ½ cups milk

2 large eggs

8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the topping:

1 cup softened butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

3 tsp cinnamon

For the glaze:

2 cups powdered sugar

⅓ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract


Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a mixing bowl, blend all cake ingredients until smooth. Spread mixture into a well-greased 9x13 baking dish.

In another bowl, mix topping ingredients until creamy. Drop spoonfuls onto cake mixture, then swirl with a butter knife.

Bake for 40-45 minutes until a knife comes out clean from the center.

Mix glaze ingredients until smooth and pour over warm cake.

Allow glaze to set before serving.
